Bats usually ship 5 to 7 business days after the order is received. Most bats are custom in that they will be engraved with a name. If you are in a big hurry skip the engraving line and special colors and bats will ship same day or just a day or two after order is in the lineup
If all things are equal, bat model, length, weight, swing speed and pitched ball speed there is no significant ball travel difference.
If you wipe the bat barrel with a damp cloth you will remove dirt and grime and give the bat a nicer look. Do not use any cleaners, solvents or waxes.
Please email us at woodbat@comcast.net or call 508 362 8046 with the lengths, models and quantities needed. Please inquire 3 to 4 months before your baseball season starts.
The baseball should make contact with bat barrel at 90 degrees from the centerline of the label. If the label is at the 12 o’clock position hit the ball at 3 or 9 o’clock.
Most bats break when then ball strikes the very end of the bat barrel, an outside pitch. This puts the most stress on the wood and will crack the bat about 12 inches above the knob end
